Public Safety Diver Weekend Agenda

Friday Meet and Greet – Friday March 19,    2pm – 8pm at MBT Divers.

Public Safety Divers, technicians, and trainers representing teams from all over the gulf coast will have an opportunity to meet others and share experiences and ideas in a social setting. 

Vehicle Recovery Workshop – A two day hands on training event.

Saturday & Sun March 20-21,   9am-4pm   $40.00 per student registration fee

This ERDi light salvage course is designed to provide public safety divers with new techniques in a unique skill set that allows for safe and fast removal of autos/ heavy items from the water. This program is designed for the diver and non-diving command officer.

Students gain experience using a full size automobile simulator that brings a real word feel to this workshop. You don't just simulate it, you do it! Topics covered will include rigging, remote lifting, techniques for new and old autos, and much more.

Representatives from Hollis Gear and Interspiro will be on hand all weekend providing presentations on the many new products available for the PSD diver and answering questions on their complete product lines.

Emergency Response Diver International (ERDi) Instructors will provide an introduction to their varied and in- depth Public Safety Diver training programs. These training programs should be an integral part of any PSD or SAR training regimen.
